Friends,
We are celebrating Master OSHO’s birthday on Sun, Dec 17th (in lieu of Dec 11th) with a full day of Meditation, Dance & Celebration program.
OSHO was born on Dec 11, 1931 in Kuchwada, India. After his enlightenment on Mar 21, 1953, OSHO worked tirelessly towards spreading his vision of Zorba the Buddha. The work that was done and is now being done towards human inner transformation is simply unimaginable.
Whether you are new to meditation or have done it several times, it doesn’t matter. A Master’s birthday celebration is totally unique ‘Satsang’ in terms of the magnitude of the presence & grace that you can experience.
OSHO is not a philosopher or thinker instead a realized Master. His meditation techniques are created for the individual of this day and time so they are extremely effective no matter what culture, ethnicity or religious background you may have. The meditations techniques are simple yet very powerful and can take you to realms of your inner self that you may never have tasted. To taste a glimpse of meditation can be a very very life transforming experience. So you are heartily invited to come to OSHO’s birthday celebration program!
A meditator asks OSHO…
What is the difference between meditating with & without a Master?
A meditation method becomes qualitatively different when you are initiated into it by a Master. When a Master initiates you into a method he studies you, sees if its the right time to penetrate into your unconscious, sees if the method will work on you or not and then initiates you into the method. The method goes deep into your unconscious and starts functioning even though you may or may not be aware of it. So there are many methods but without a real Master, it may take years or lifetimes to penetrate the depths of your unconscious. That is why a Master is important. In his presence, the meditation becomes an alive process & deeply penetrates your unconscious giving you a glimpse & taste of your being…it’s no more a mere mental process.
We will be doing many meditation methods this Sunday. It will be a play workshop for you to try and experiment different meditation methods.
Event Details:
It will be a full day meditation program with various active & passive meditations. Wear comfortable clothing or white/maroon robes so you can actively participate in the meditations which will involve body movements.
